The most wonderful time of the year has come back around already. How fast did 2022 fly by?!
I am currently sitting here in my Christmas pudding hoodie (it’s cute), sipping on a maple coffee (yum!), listening to Christmas music (of course), with the snow falling behind me (pretty but FREEZING).
Whether you have almost finished your Christmas shopping or you’re yet to begin, and you need some help finding the perfect present for a loved one – or yourself (self-love is vital) – then look no further, my Christmas Gift Guide is here to help.
For Kids (And Big Kids)
Big Potato Games
This is a great place to buy a present for the competitive person in your life. The company produces some great board games including Herd Mentality, Colourbrain, Obama Llama, Shoot For The Stars, Blockbuster, Chicken vs Hotdog, Sounds Fishy (my personal fave), the festive Santa Banter…the list goes on and on!
Just Play is also a great place to get games and toys, especially for those under 12. The award-winning company’s new Rukus Music Mixer, the retro Slinky, and its Disney range toys are my personal favourite items. But, the brand also has a great range of products featuring Cocomelon, Barbie, Blue’s Clues and more. Again, I could go on and on, but I’ll let you have a look for yourself.
I love this company’s products! Toucan Box makes craft boxes for kids, motivating them to leave screens for a more productive and rewarding experience, as well as inspiring quality time with parents and/or siblings. The cool company also sells magazines and books for young readers too.
I fell in love with Grumbalina the moment I heard about her. This fairy isn’t always nice, just like any one of us she can be a little bit grumpy sometimes, and just because she is a fairy, it doesn’t mean life is always sparkly. You and the children in your life can meet this funny fairy too. She is featured in her very own book series, which you can also purchase in Holiday Bundles. These bundles include a backpack and other magical merchandise.
Experiences To Treasure
Red Letter Days
Red Letter Days has been giving the gift of unforgettable experiences for over 30 years. The company has vouchers for a wide range of events and experiences, including three course meals at high-end restaurants, tickets for West End shows, and delightful afternoon tea options. There is also an option to purchase Choice Vouchers if you don’t know what the recipient will love most, so they can choose for themselves.
This company also specialises in unique experiences. Starting from just £8, Buyagift features experiences such as spa days, wine-tasting days, and theatre experiences. Just like Red Letter Days, you can opt to buy a gift voucher in case your loved one is picky and would like to choose an experience themselves.
P.S. Concert tickets are always the perfect present for music lovers too (just make sure you know what they like!).
For Food And Drink Lovers
Bird and Blend
Bird and Blend products are great for the tea-lovers in your life. The company has subscription boxes, gift cards, unique flavours of tea and lots more. It’s tea-tolly perfect for those that love a good cuppa!
The Pret subscription is truly wonderful. If you/your loved one is someone who visits a coffee shop multiple times a day, then this subscription is a MUST. It allows the customer to have up to five barista-made drinks a day; this includes all types of coffee, tea and even frappés. The subscription is currently half price for new users during the first month, so you’d only have to pay £12.50 for around 60 drinks, I mean, come on! It sounds too good to be true, but as a subscriber myself, I can tell you that it isn’t. If anyone wants to get me next month’s daily coffee hit then go for it 😉.
This small one-woman business delivers some of the most beautiful personalised products you’ve ever seen. One of the best things about this calligraphy-based business is that orders can be custom made. Products include prints, gift tags, bookmarks and even Christmas tree decor!
Another one-woman small business that I love is Ayaba Collection. The company’s name comes from the Yoruba word for Queen and was founded on the belief that all women are royalty. Ayaba Collection produces pretty pyjamas, hair wraps, colourful scrunchies, silk pillowcases and fluffy slippers, with personalisation options too. What’s more, 10 percent of all profits goes straight to charity – what could be better than giving a gift to a friend AND someone in need at the same time?
Green People is a great skincare and beauty brand with perfect gifts for the eco-warrior in your life. The company produces organic, vegan products, which smell and feel great. I especially love their Quinoa & Artichoke shampoo and conditioner range.
Adorn With God
If you’ve been following my blog and podcast for a while, you will know how much I love this small business. Adorn With God is home nice necklaces, beautiful bracelets and more; all featuring meaningful engravings. Bonus: when you use the code: The Abi Diaries, you get a little freebie with your order!
Happy shopping! And remember, the greatest gift of all came down that very first Christmas; Jesus is the reason for the season. Merry Christmas everyone!
With Love, Abi X
