My Musts Of The Months: February and March 2023

Hi readers,

If you’re a regular here, you may have realised a change in the title of this month’s post, and that’s because my “Musts Of The Month” will be published every two months for 2023. But worry not, this means that each edition will be a bumper one – hooray!

The Gospel Truth

I speak a lot about Elevation Worship on my Musts Of The Month, and this bumper edition is no different, as this awesome group just released another awesome song. More Than Able was released earlier this month, and it is the first single off of a brand new album that will be released later this year. I guess you’ll be seeing Elevation Worship appear a lot on my lists over the course of this year…!

A Great New Show

Has anybody else fallen in love with Abbott Elementary? If you haven’t yet heard about it, let me enlighten you. Abbott Elementary is an Emmy Award AND Golden Globe Award-winning show following the lives of a group of public school teachers in Philadelphia. The hilarious show is a great choice for fans of The Office, and features an amazing cast, including the writer of the show, Quinta Brunson.

Hit and Miss

The Amazon Prime Original Movie, Shotgun Wedding, starring Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel is a film that made me laugh out loud. However, I don’t know if everyone will love it, so you can watch it and let me know!

Hitting All The Right Notes

Tori Kelly is back! The songstress released a new song – after almost a year away from the recording studio – earlier this month, and with a voice like hers, how could it not be a hit? The singer-songwriter shifts away from her usual style, and focuses on an old-school R ‘n’ B vibe for this new song; make sure to check it out!

Heaven-Sent

Now, this is not a new film, so it is a bit of a cheat BUT I only discovered it last month, so it’s allowed :p. 90 Minutes In Heaven is a true story, based on a book, about a man who has a devastating car accident and is pronounced dead, but – before he gets revived – enters and experiences heaven for 90 minutes. This is a touching tale with many funny moments too.
